- Annnandale on the River was established in 2006 as an over 55 condominium community here in the small town of Litchfield, New Hampshire. With the fields of Wilson Farms to the north, our neighborhood is comprised of 57 homes, nestled on the banks of the Merrimack River. Much of Litchfield's history is tied to the many farms that sprang up all along the river. Annandale was built atop fertile soil that was previously prime farm land used to cultivate strawberries. In fact, all our home styles take their names from different varieties of strawberries... the Alpine, Annapolis, Blakemore and Chandler!
